Taare Zameen Par (Stars on Earth) – The Best Hindi Film I’ve Ever Watched

When I first watched TZP I was really amazed, how Indian cinema got the idea of producing such a creative film. Actually it isn’t a film which was created in a short time period; it is the outcome of a 2 year research done by Amole Gupte. He is the creative director of the film and writer of the story. TZP is a brilliantly done film by Aamir Khan. He has done much justice to the film a new director. Everyone who have watched the film are overjoyed with his ability.

This is a film that everybody should watch, it has something to catch anybody’s heart. I really love the scenes of the film specially the one, ‘Ishaan near the lake in early morning’. It lead to his winning drawing at the end. Music of Shankar, Eshan and Loy is excellent with a variety of flavours. Playback singers give their best and voices are heart touching, especially Shankar Mahadevan’s.

I watched a VCD quality copy of the film and I looked for a DVD in local shops but I couldn’t find a one. I was really sad about it. But now Sri Lankan viewers have got the chance to watch the film on TV. It was something I was expecting as no film importer imported the film to Sri Lanka. So I hope all will watch film and experience the difference.
