Rafael Nadal showed the world what real determination means. He had to fight for 3 years to win his first ever Wimbledon title. It was amazing to see how he kept his nerves calm in the last set of the Wimbledon final, a game which is now recognized as one of the best matches ever played in world tennis history .
It was a 6-4 6-4 6-7 6-7 9-7 win for Nadal made him the first man after Bjorn Borg to win the Wmbledon and French open in the same year. This final which lasted long for almost 4 hours and 48 minutes is the longest ever final in Wimbledon history. Roger Federer will have to come next year with a full armory of shots to regain the Wimbledon title.
